Do you have previous experience of conducting environmental risk assessments and exposure modelling?

Have you interpreted studies addressing the environmental fate of plant protection products?

A contract position exists with a leading Agrochemical company to provide technical expertise in Environmental Fate assessment to support the development and registrations of new active ingredients as well as existing products in Europe.

Main responsibilities will include:
- You will get involved in conducting environmental risk assessments and will use current FOCUS models;
- Interpret study and assessment outputs, provide options for resolution of issues / further work including risk-benefit analyses;
- Manage projects and interact with project teams and other relevant stakeholders.

A strong understanding of soil science, movement and degradation of chemicals in soil and water together with a current comprehensive knowledge of EU regulations are required. Ability to use current FOCUS models, write assessments for EU registration dossiers and provide technical advice for regulatory use or to aid exploratory, development and business decisions will be required.
