Project Manager (M+E)
North West based (to cover NW and Midlands)
Permanent
Salary £40k - £45k+car+bens
Due to ongoing expansion this Installation Contractor requires a Project Manager to join their existing engineering division. Working from home, this is a field based position and your role will cover the North-West and Midlands area of England, with occasional overnight stays.
Your role will be to manage the interfaces between company, customer, principal equipment suppliers and the end user to ensure that projects are delivered meeting all targets.
Responsibilities of the role will include:
· Multiple Project Management
· Management of projects to agreed HSE standards.
· Main point of contact for the end client
· Monthly project reports on safety, schedule, scope, cost and quality.
· Issue resolution / escalation
· Liaising between design team, suppliers and installation team
· Cost-to-completion projections using cost estimation tools (CES)
· Client handover
· Staff development
· Improvement activities within company processes seeking to improve customer satisfaction
To suit this role you must have a proven track record of Project Management in M+E installations. HVAC, CHP, Boilers, Biomass or Building Services is preferred. The role will involve working on multiple projects up to 6 Mw installs.
