The company
An industrial producer of edible oils who are establishing a brand new refinery in Liverpool. The new facility will produce refined palm oil, in various grades, to cater to the growing demand for fully traceable and sustainable palm oil in the EU. This is an excellent opportunity to join the company at the start of their ambitious growth plans and help to mould their future.
The Role.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating all production activities. You will ensure that the plant operates to world class standards of efficiency and effectiveness while maintaining safety, environmental, food safety and quality standards. As part of the management team, you will sustain the links between production and the supply chain.
You
Ideally degree qualified in Chemical or Process Engineering, you will have experience and knowledge of a chemical production environment. You should have managerial experience gained from working in a production environment, ideally using similar process technology to those used in refining edible oils.
