Profile:
Electrical Technician
Salary: up to £27k including shift allowance
Benefits - Excellent including bonus, BUPA and contributory pension
Shift pattern: 6am - 2pm then 12pm - 8pm alternating, weekends off and earlier finish on a Friday for both shifts
We are working with a market leader in its industry to recruit an Electrical Technician due to an impending retirement. The role is based within the Maintenance Facilities Team and will include daily checks and plant operation, carrying out planned maintenance on equipment, electrical installations, repairs & general electrical works.
To apply you need to have most of the following:
The candidate will have served a recognised apprenticeship or have an ONC or equivalent; will have IEE 16th / 17th Edition Certification.
- Have an understanding of PLC Controls.
- Experience with electrical installations on industrial premises.
- Experience of single and three phase motor control circuits.
- Experience of sensors, limit switches and their operation.
- Experience of machinery controls.
- The ability to work on different voltages from 5VDC - 415VAC
- The ability to work on both lighting, emergency lighting and power circuits.
- The ability to carry out basic mechanical tasks and assist other technicians with work on mechanical systems.
- The ability to work at heights
